Sylvan La Cross from Baker, Montana is a professional bareback rider and bullfighter. Joining the PRCA in 2008, he has qualified for the Montana Circuit Finals eight times in the bareback riding, and is now placing more of his focus on where his true passion lies; his bullfighting career.

He attended Northwest College studying Agricultural Business while riding bucking horses and bulls for the NWC Rodeo Team. Upon graduation with an Associate's Degree, he transferred to the University of Idaho to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Business and qualified for the College National Finals in the bareback riding in 2010. He then went back to serve as head coach for the U of I Rodeo Team for three years.

Watching bullfighting greats Loyd Ketchum, Rob Smets, Joe Baumgartner, and many others as a child, bullfighting has always been his "true calling" in the rodeo arena. Fighting bulls across the Northwest for several years, Sylvan now has reached the professional ranks and is dedicated to providing top cowboy protection and sharing his passion for the rodeo with everyone he meets. He now lives back in his home state of Montana where he pursues his passion for rodeo, leatherwork, and carpentry.
