These are a few of the larger PRCA events that Tyrell has won throughout his Career, not counting the numerous PRCA circuit rodeos and other Professional Rodeo events throughout the United States. After his first WNFR qualification in 2012 he has consistently maintained a spot within the top 25 in the world, narrowly missing a second WNFR qualification in 2016. After finishing 16th in the World in 2016, Tyrell started the 2017 season off with solid showings in Fort Worth Texas and the Ram National Circuit Finals in Kissimmee Florida. After climbing as high as 5th in the world he was sidelined by a severe Core injury in June 2017, the injury needed to be surgically repaired in August. Despite the severe injury Tyrell did finish 21st in the World.
Tyrell lives in Sand Coulee Montana with his wife Janelle. Janelle Rides & Trains Barrel Horses as well as running her own Leather Business, Arrow JT Creations. Despite a rigorous travel season Tyrell is also an instructor at numerous Rodeo Schools throughout the United States and Canada.
So far the 2018 season is off to a great start, Tyrell placed second at The Lewis Field Memorial Broncs & Bulls in Salt Lake City Utah, these being his first two horses back since surgery in August of 2017.
